Donate a hour of your time to the Katrina People Finder Project.  Anyone who reads this blog has the skills and all of us can find an hour of time to donate to this cause.  If, like me, you have already given as much money as you can afford then please take the time to help out with the peoplefinder wiki.

What to do when racism gets in the way of innocent victims. I guess I will just donate yet some more money to the necessary funds. We live in a large home, yet other partner is reluctant to commit to opening our home to victims of this catastrophe (spelt wrong) in case the "wrong kind" are volunteered. At the end of the day we are all human and vunerable to nature/god's way. I am just trying to help knowing I can...so yet again I am off to the local JC grocery store to contribute another US$500 just to "piss" the other half off. Being racist can cost...human life should NEVER. THoughts and prayers to those surviving.
God be with you....
